The VERITON VTU-1000 is a portable cargo tank measuring instrument designed for professional use onboard oil and chemical tankers. The instrument measures ullage, oil/water interface and product temperature through approved vapour lock systems.
The VTU-1000 combines three essential cargo measurement functions in one robust and user-friendly instrument. Its modular construction, chemically resistant materials and accessible replaceable components are designed to support reliable operation and reduce long-term maintenance requirements.

ULLAGE DETECTION
Technology: Ultrasonic sensing
The probe detects contact with the liquid surface and provides audible and visual indication to support accurate ullage measurement.
INTERFACE DETECTION
Technology: Conductivity sensing
Conductivity measurement is used to distinguish the oil or chemical product from water at the bottom of the cargo tank.
TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT
Technology: Platinum RTD Pt1000
An integrated Pt1000 temperature sensor measures cargo temperature across the specified measurement range.
